This webinar describes the new software tool ETAS RTPRO-PC. Typically, real-time prototyping tasks demand specialized real-time hardware with a real-time operating system (RTOS), on which the real-time software is executed. ETAS RTPRO-PC now makes it possible to run a real-time OS on an ordinary PC (eg, a laptop) in parallel and independent to a standard Windows® OS, using the PC as a real-time target. This eliminates the need for specialized real-time hardware and utilizes the computing power of modern multi-core PC systems for rapid prototyping.
